This Site is Constantly Under Development. Keep Checking Back for Updates!
This site is for IT Professionals like myself that repeatedly have to Google the same how-to articles every time they do something (particularly for Linux). This site is not for beginners, but we do try to link to more detailed how-to articles that we've obtained some of our "Snips" from.
With over 25 years in IT, I've had exposure to a ton of information and have experience on more systems than I can think of. I've reached the point where I don't think I can cram much more into my brain for instant recall anymore. I have endless lists of bookmarks to technical references and tons of notes in Notepad++, OneNote, EverNote, etc., and trying to find those notes can take as long as Googling the information again.
My goal with WikiSnips is to consolidate all the commonly used technical resources into one organized, searchable site. With WikiSnips, I "snip" the relevant parts from various how-to's, examples, and tutorials and put them into quick, concise posts without all the fluff and detailed explanations. Hopefully, these posts will be helpful to someone besides myself!
